ERRC Executive Director Dezideriu Gergely: National Roma Strategies

ERRC Executive Director Dezideriu Gergely spoke recently at the conference “National Roma Strategies: Ensuring a Comprehensive and Effective European Approach.”

This statement was delivered at the session on the role of the European Parliament in monitoring the EU Framework and ensuring a role for Roma in the creation, implementation and evaluation of national Roma strategies.

The event was hosted at the European Parliament on November 8, 2011, under the patronage of European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek and the European Parliament's political groups, with George Soros, Founder and Chairman of the Open Society Foundations.

ERRC Seeks Interns

The European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC) invites applications for its full-time internship programme. The ERRC offers interns a dynamic, fast-paced, international human rights environment, based in Budapest, Hungary. Romani and non-Romani interns are chosen for this programme through a competitive bi-annual selection process. The ERRC is currently accepting applications from persons wishing to intern full-time at the ERRC for a minimum of three months, starting between September 2013-February 2014.
