Forced Evictions of Roma in Bulgaria

On September 1, 2005 the European Roma Rights Centre sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Serguei Stanishev, urging him to intervene to cease massive forced evictions of Roma from Bulgaria's capital Sofia and to provide compensation for Roma whose houses have been demolished.
