Georgeta Munteanu

Georgeta is originally from Bucharest, Romania. In 2007, she graduated with a BA in Public Administration from the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration, University of Bucharest, Romania. In 2008/2009 she was a participant of the Roma Access Program at the Central European University (CEU). Subsequently, she completed an MA in Public Policy at CEU in 2010.

While interning at the ERRC, Georgeta hopes to use her knowledge about the situation of Roma throughout Europe, acquired during her studies, her work experience as a trainee at the European Commission and her life experience as an Eastern European Roma. Particularly, she wishes to continue developing her interest in improving the employment situation of Roma from Central and Eastern Europe.
