Geneviève Ryan grew up in Chilliwack, British Columbia and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Victoria in Canada. She currently studies law at the University of Toronto, and is also completing her MA in Russian and European Studies there. Her primary research interests are international human rights law and refugee law. She has volunteered for the past two years at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law's International Human Rights Project and will be Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal for International Law and International Relations for the 2015-2016 academic year.
