Romani gravestone desecrated in Bosnia

Radio 021, a radio station based in Novi Sad, Serbia, reported on May 28, 2001, that five gravestones were demolished in the Muslim graveyard in the town of Bijeljina, north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the previous night. Four Bosniak gravestones and one Romani gravestone were destroyed. The Bijeljina police were reported to be conducting an investigation on the case, however no further information was available.
