Study Finds Roma to be Most Unpopular Ethnic Group

A recent study by the Centre on Empirical Research (STEM) demonstrates that Roma are the least popular ethnic group amongst Czechs, reported Dženo Association on May 10, 2005. The results of STEM's research shows that only thirteen percent of Czechs would feel comfortable living next to Roma. Around one third of Czechs found the idea of living next to Roma as totally unacceptable, while twenty-eight percent would find it very difficult and twenty-seven percent expected it would be unpleasant, the survey found.
